Dating Violence Growing in Schools: Is Your School Prepared?

Yet, more than half of them also report having to deal with such incidents in the last two years.  An Overview of our Prgrams & Events

Nebraska PTA has several host several events throughout the year for our local units, councils and community.

Reflections is a special program that is execlusive to PTA/PTSAs. All PTA/PTSAs that are in good standing are eligible to participate. Click on the Reflections tab for more information 

Convention is held once a year, normally in the fall. We encourage all our units to attend. You will get to network with other units in Nebraska, guest speakers that address issues and/or situations going on in our schools and communities, outside resources you will be able to bring back to your units and several other benefits!

Each unit receives one voting delegate per 25 members (# of members are determind by the previous years membership numbers), plus your unit president or the presidents fill-in.

NePTA has one official general meeting (somewhat like local units) where local unit members get a deciding vote in NePTA business. This is that meeting! Hope to see you at next years convention!

Summer Training is designed to help you learn how to me the most effective volunteer in your PTA roles. We encourage new and existing PTA board members to attend.

This training is focused on PTA board positions and how to best advocate for children within your unit!

Vendors Fair is currently in the planning stage and is scheduled for the March 2013 time frame. We will have more details for you in January.

This event is designed to bring our local units, councils and community members a one stop shop on traditional, uniques ways to raise funds in your schools and communities. Along with several other resources/programs that could be beneficial to your cause!
