Convention 2024

THANK YOU to everyone who attended the Level UP 2024 Nebraska PTA Convention last month, in person or virtually!

With your help, we were able to reach a quorum to elect Laura Lethcoe as our NE PTA Board Secretary, and Shara Coles as our Treasurer.

Lots of information was shared about the Givebacks website (formerly MemberHub) and its capabilities for local units, NE PTA's legislative advocacy over the last year, the upcoming Reflections Art Program, and great secretary/treasurer/membership pointers. We will be considering more in-depth workshops in the future about various topics, so please let us know what you have interest in!

A few lucky attendees were chosen to receive a free ticket to the national Level UP PTA 2024 Virtual Convention happening June 27-29! Any PTA member can register to attend the virtual convention for more tips and tricks from PTA leaders, insight from education experts, and workshops that will transform your leadership and membership approach. Actor and literacy advocate, LaVar Burton, of Reading Rainbow, Roots, and Star Trek fame will be a featured speaker!
